Architectural
Review Board (A.R.B.)
Chairperson: Don Freeman
The primary responsibility of the Architectural Review Board (ARB) is to
preserve the aesthetic qualities of the development and the quality of
living in the community. The ARB is charged with the establishment of
standards to which all residents of the community must comply. The ARB
will provide assistance in enforcing community standards in the realm of
The Associations architectural scheme as described in the community
documents.
The ARB Chairman will be appointed by the Board of
Directors. The Chairman shall select at least (3) members but no more
than (5) to effectively carry out the committee’s assigned
responsibilities.
Landscape Committee
Chairperson: Mardee Jenrette
“The primary responsibility of the Landscape Committee is to monitor,
research, and recommend community-wide landscaping improvements,
changes, or additions. The Landscaping Committee identifies needs,
researches options, gets estimates, and then takes their findings to the
Board of Trustees for approval/funding. In particular, the Landscaping
committee is taking active steps to facilitate conformance to new
Florida state-wide rules and regulations concerning Florida Friendly
Landscaping ordinances.”
Welcome Committee
Chairperson: Tricia Rankin
The primary responsibility of the Welcome Committee is to
reach out to new families upon arrival and
ensure that they are made to feel welcome. This committee also makes new
arrivals aware of Florida, St. Johns County, the City of St. Augustine
government and business entities and familiarizes them with the World
Golf Village and Turnberry web sites and their contents.”
Rules Enforcement Committee
Chairperson: Marie Cashat
The primary responsibility of the Enforcement Committee is to act on
behalf of the HOA members to ensure that the owner agreed Covenants and
Restrictions, designed to enhance the beauty and value of property
within the Turnberry neighborhood, are fairly applied to all residents.
The goal of the Committee is to preserve the quality of living within
the community.
The Committee Chairman will be appointed by the
Board of Directors. An adequate number, usually a minimum of two
additional members will be recommended by the Chairman and approved by
the BOD.
Social Committee
Chairperson: Carol Schook
The primary responsibility of the social committee is to advise and
assist the Board in creating and providing social and recreational
events which are geared to the interests and needs of the community.
Also, to keep homeowners informed about their Association via the
Turnberry website or newsletter if required.
The Committee
Chairperson will be appointed by the Board of Directors. An
adequate number of committee members will be selected by the Chairman to
effectively carry out the assigned responsibilities.
